Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) is a reboot of the 1999 classic Counter Strike , but with a 2012 release date. The game is available for free download on PC ( Steam ), Playstation 3 (PS3) and Xbox 360 , and brings everything that its predecessor had, but now with the addition of several more modern elements. The game is currently in Operation RipTide.

Counter Strike: Global Offensive Free Edition, a free offline version of the game, which includes matches against bots and the ability to watch professional matches, is also available for download via Steam.

The game's competitive scenario is one of the strongest in Brazil and has teams renowned worldwide, such as MIBR and FURIA.
